Penne, Ham & Broccoli Salad

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil over high heat.
  2. Cook the broccoli in salted water until firm, but tender about 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Remove broccoli with slotted spoon to large bowl; set aside.
  4. Bring water to boil, add penne pasta and cook as directed on package, drain and place in bowl with broccoli.
  5. Heat large skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat.
  6. Add garlic and onion; cook and stir until onion and garlic are tender.
  7. Pour over broccoli and pasta.
  8. Add the ham.
  9. Gently toss ingredients to coat with oil.
  10. Season the salad with salt and pepper.
  11. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
