Pecan Rice Casserole Supreme

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine pecans, rice, cheese, mushrooms, wheat germ, onion, garlic, cayenne and salt together and mix thoroughly.
  2. Add eggs and mix again.
  3. Pour into a well oiled baking pan.
  4. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes.
  5. Let sit 5 minutes before cutting and serving with hot mushroom gravy.
  6. For gravy heat butter and sauté mushrooms.
  7. Sprinkle on flour and brown by stirring over medium heat.
  8. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a low boil.
  9. Turn heat to low.
  10. Stir, cover and let simmer for 15 minutes.
