Peanut Butter Ice Cream

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 3 cups light cream

Directions:

  1. In a saucepan, combine milk, sugar, flour and salt.
  2. Cook, stirring, on med.
  3. Heat until slightly thickened (approximately 15 min.).
  4. Stir a few tablespoons of the hot milk mixture into the beaten eggs.
  5. Return egg-milk mixture to saucepan and cook, stirring constantly, for 2 min.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Combine and blend well 1 cup of the hot milk mixture with the peanut butter.
  8. Then stir peanut butter into milk mixture.
  9. Cool.
  10. Add vanilla and light cream to milk mixture.
  11. Churn-freeze.
