Peanut Butter Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cups flour , sifted
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup buttermilk

Directions:

  1. Sift flour, soda, and salt together.
  2. Cream brown sugar and peanut butter.
  3. Add well beaten egg and stir in flavoring.
  4. Add flour mixture alternatively with buttermilk and blend well.
  5. Bake in a greased loaf pan at 350 for 50 minutes.
  6. Cool to lukewarm before slicing.
  7. Note: When I made this, I halved the recipe and it baked in 30 minutes. I also omitted the sifting.
