Ingredients:

  • 2 cup flour
  • 1-1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1 lb. packed brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • frosting
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup hot water

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.Coat two 13x9 baking pans with coking spray.
  2. In a bowl,beat shortening,peanut butter and brown sugar on med-high for 3 mins. Add eggs;beat 3 mins more. Add vanila.
  3. On low speed,beat in flour mixture. Stir in peanuts.
  4. Divide batter between prepared pans. Bake for 25-30 mins or till lightly browned. Let cool slightly.
  5. Frosting: Beat confectioners sugar,peanut butter,shortening,salt and vanilla. Add hot water a little at a time. Beat until smooth. Spread over blondies while still warm.
