Ingredients:

  • 1 cup brown sugar , firmly packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal
  • 2 tbsp margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 -3 tbsp milk

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. Batter will be very thick.
  3. Press into greased 9 x 13 pan.
  4. Bake at 375° for 12 to 15 minutes.
  5. Let cool and frost.
  6. For frosting: Mix all ingredients together until smooth and frost bars.
