Ingredients:

  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place butter in a 8 x 8 baking pan. Put into oven to melt. Remove from oven when melted.
  3. In a small saucepan,stir together peaches,cinnamon,and nutmeg.
  4. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
  5. In a medium mixing bowl,combine flour,sugar,and milk. Mix well.
  6. Pour batter into baking dish over the butter. DO NOT STIR.
  7. Carefully spoon peaches with syrup over the batter. DO NOT STIR.
  8. Bake 35-45 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
