Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the sugar, flour and cinnamon.
  2. Add peaches;toss to coat.
  3. Transfer to a greased 8-in. square baking pan.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Beat in egg.
  6. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to the creamed mixture alternately with milk.
  7. Drop by spoonfuls onto peaches; spread evenly.
  8. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
  9. Serve warm.
  10. Yield: 6 servings.
