Orange Cranberry Applesauce Pork Chops

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz applesauce
  • 1 orange , zest of
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tbsp clove
  • 2 -3 dashes ginger
  • 2 tbsp butter

Directions:

  1. In a small saucepan combine everything but the butter and the pork chops. Mix well and let everything simmer for about 10 minutes, until everything is bubbling and well-combined. Melt the butter in a frying pan and sear each side of the pork chops until they are browned. Turn the heat down to med-low and pour the hot cranberry apple mix on top of the pork chops. Cover and let simmer for about 15-20 minute until pork chops are thoroughly cooked, but nice and tender. Serve and enjoy!
