Old Fashioned Farina muffins

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup farina
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 egg

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 400 F.
  2. Line with paper baking cups or grease the bottom only on a 12 muffin pan.
  3. In large bowl, combine flour, farina, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Add milk, oil, and egg.
  6. Stir until dry ingredients are moistened.
  7. Fill prepared muffin cups 2/3 full.
  8. Bake at 400 F for 15 to 20 minutes or until muffins are light golden brown.
