Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp shortening
  • 1/3 cup raw milk
  • 2 tbsp honey ,collected this year

Directions:

  1. In bowl,stir in the flour ,baking powder,and salt,very thoroughly.
  2. Cut in the shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Stir in Oats.
  4. Combine egg,milk,and honey.
  5. Add to dry mixture,stir Just until moistened.
  6. Drop by spoonfuls on greased baking sheet.
  7. Bake at 424 degrees for about 8 to 10 minutes.
  8. Butter,and serve.
