No Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Drop Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 cup. sugar
  • 1/2 cup. milk
  • 1/2 cup. butter
  • 3 3/4 - 4 cup. quick oatmeal
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 6 tbsp. cocoa

Directions:

  1. Heat sugar, milk and butter to boil in a saucepan.
  2. Once boiling, let boil 2 minutes.
  3. Remove pan from heat.
  4. Add cocoa and vanilla and mix well.
  5. Then add oatmeal. (Be warned, this gets to be a hard substance to stir!)
  6. Place on wax paper using a teaspoonful. (Ala - drop cookies!)
  7. Allow at least 6 hours to harden.
