Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Beat egg yolks and sugar together until thick and lemon colored.
  2. Gradually add melted butter.
  3. Add salt and grated orange rind.
  4. Stir together cognac,orange juice and baking powder; add this to the butter mixture.
  5. Beat egg whites until stiff.
  6. Alternately fold in flour and beaten egg whites to the butter mixture.
  7. Pour into a greased and floured bundt pan.
  8. Push a coin, tightly wrapped in foil, into the batter.
  9. Bake at 350°F for 40-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
