New Orleans Praline Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1 (1 lb) box brownie mix
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350.
  2. Spray bottom of 13x9 inch pan with cooking spray.
  3. Make brownie mix as directed on box.
  4. Stir in pecans and bake.
  5. In a saucepan mix cream, butter, brown sugar and salt.
  6. Being to a boil cook 1 minute stirring constantly.
  7. Remove from heat. stir in pecans powdered sugar and vanilla.
  8. Cool 5 minutes stirring frequently.
  9. Spread frosting over brownies let stand 30 minutes.
