Nettys Simple Brown Rice

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups brown rice
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tbsp of butter or vegetable oil

Directions:

  1. Put all ingredients in a soup pan
  2. Medium to high heat
  3. Keep an eye on it..DO NOT LET BOIL OVER!
  4. Let cook until done (about 40 minutes)
  5. Brown rice when done is a little different from white rice
  6. It will be soft but still have a little bit of a nuttiness to it.
  7. Fluff with fork
  8. Enjoy
