Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Place the rice into a casserole with a cover. Add any veggies or extra ingredients.
  3. Bring the water (or liquid), butter, salt and spices just to a boil in a kettle or covered saucepan. Once the water boils, pour it over the rice, stir to combine.
  4. Cover the dish tightly with heavy-duty aluminum foil and then place lid over that.
  5. Bake on the middle rack of the oven for 1 hour.
  6. After 1 hour, remove cover and fluff the rice with a fork. Serve immediately.
