Mum's Fab Chicken Pie

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz mushrooms
  • 1/4 pint milk
  • 1 oz butter
  • 1 oz flour

Directions:

  1. Sautee onion until soft but not brown.
  2. Add chicken and saute lightly.
  3. Set to one side.
  4. For sauce, melt butter, add flour, stir in milk.
  5. Allow to thicken.
  6. Place chicken mix and sauce into pie shell.
  7. Top with sliced mushrooms.
  8. Cover with the other pastry.
  9. Bake at 390F for approx 30-45 min until top is a little brown.
