Mouthwatering Chinese Pork Chops

Ingredients:

  • 6 tbsp oyster sauce (lee kum chee is the best brand. i buy mine in bulk at an oriental market)
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp applesauce
  • 1 tbsp of minced garlic
  • 4 large pork chops

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in gallon sized zip-lock bag. Add meat. Marinate overnight.
  2. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Place pork chops in foil-lined baking pan and pour sauce from the bag over them.
  4. Cover and bake for 45 minutes.
  5. Remove foil from pan. Turn chops and bake for an additional fifteen minutes to brown.
  6. Serve over white rice. I save the drippings and pour them over the rice.
