Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Mix sugar and shortening.
  3. Add egg and molasses.
  4. Mix flour, spices, baking powder and baking soda. Add dry ingredients to sugar mix.
  5. Form into little balls and roll in sugar.
  6. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
