Ingredients:

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 5 leaves recao or 1/2 cup cilantro leaf, chopped
  • salt , to taste
  • pepper , to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 4 tsp salt
  • 4 oz capers
  • 1 oz vinegar
  • 1 (4 oz) can roasted red peppers

Directions:

  1. In medium pan, add oil and saute peppers and onions.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, except tomato sauce, and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Add tomato sauce.
  4. Serve!
