Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Set oven to 350
  2. Butter an 11x7 pan(if using more than 4 breasts,use bigger pan)
  3. In a bowl,combine melted butter with fresh minced garlc,garlic powder and salt
  4. In another bowl,combine bread crumbs with 1/2c fine grated cheddar cheese,parmesan cheese and coarse ground pepper.
  5. Dip chicken in butter mixture;then in crumb mixture
  6. Place in prepared pan and bake uncovered for 30-35 mins or till juices run clear,or bake covered 15 mins and uncover for the remainder of cooking time,baking uncovered will create a crisper crust
  7. **Note** for moist chicken cooking time should be no more than at the most 35 mins. unless they are very large the you might have to add on a couple of extra minutes)
  8. Top with shreaded cheddar or mozzarella the last 5 mins, of baking(this is optional)
  9. Delicious
  10. To take this dish to another level,10 mins beforre cooking time is up,drizzle the top of chicken with a little pasta sauce then sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top,return to oven for 10 mins until chicken completely cooked and sauce is hot and cheese melted.
