Ingredients:

  • 1 cup lentils
  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 large onion
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Fry onion in olive oil until golden brown.
  2. Add in lentils, rice, water and salt.
  3. Bring to boil.
  4. Turn down to low/med heat and cook for approx 20 minutes or until rice and lentils are tender.
