Microwave Hot Fudge Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp cocoa
  • 1.5 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 dash(es) salt
  • 1.5 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 0.5 cup water

Directions:

  1. Mix dry ingredients (sugar, cocoa, cornstarch, and salt) in 1 quart casserole or 2 cup measure. Stir in room temperature water. Cook in microwave 1.5 minutes. Blend in butter. Cook for 30 seconds more, stirring every 15 seconds. Continue heating at 15 second intervals until sauce is of desired consistency. Stir in vanilla.
