Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2/3 cup soy margarine or 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups cold water

Directions:

  1. Mix the following dry ingredients together:.
  2. Sugar.
  3. Flour.
  4. Salt.
  5. Cocoa.
  6. Baking soda.
  7. Pour in following ingredients in the order given:.
  8. Lemon juice.
  9. Soy margarine or vegetable oil.
  10. Vanilla.
  11. Cold water.
  12. Stir well and pour into greased 9X13 or 2 9 inch round pans.
  13. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30-40 minutes.
  14. Frost with favorite frosting.
