Mashed Rutabaga With Carrots and Orange

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Peel rutabaga and carrots.
  2. Cut int 3/4 inch chunks.
  3. Cook separately in boiling water until tender, drain.
  4. Mash each, either with potato masher or in a food processor.
  5. Combine rutabaga carrots, sugar, orange juice, butter, nutmeg and salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Sprinkle with parsley, if using.
  7. Serve immediately or cover and reheat before serving.
