Directions:

  1. In a large saucepan, combine the potatoes, 1 tsp salt, and enough cold water to cover.
  2. Bring to a boil over high heat
  3. Lower the heat to maintain a simmer and cook until fork tender, about 10 minutes
  4. Drain the potatoes and return to the pan
  5. Mash the potatoes and stir in the milk and buttermilk and dill
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve
