Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cold water
  • (i had only red 1 at the moment so i've use it and the eggs took a little from its color)
  • some black bean seeds
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Directions:

  1. Peel the eggs.
  2. On the bottom of a large and big jar, pour the sugar, the salt, the black paper and the bay leaf. Arrange the eggs (without cutting them) into the jar. Drop the chopped onion into the free space between the eggs. Fill with the vinegar and the water. Close very well the jar and shake it a few seconds. Place the jar into the refrigerator and allow to rest about 2-3 days.
  3. After that time, they are ready to be sliced and served with any kind of dips, sauces, mustard, mayonnaise.... with roasted vegetables or into the green salads.
