Mac & Cheese (Freezer) Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 3 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400
  2. Cook pasta according to package directions for al dente
  3. In saucepan, melt butter, add flour and cook for a minute - whisk in milk, season with salt and pepper and bring to bubble - turn burner off and stir in cheese until melted
  4. When pasta is done, drain it well and combine with sauce - pour into dish and place in oven to brown the cheese
  5. To freeze: complete instructions through #3, then let the mac and cheese cool, wrap tightly and put in freezer
  6. To bake from freezer: can go straight from freezer to 400 oven - cook for 1 hour, covered with foil, take foil off and cook for 15-20 minutes longer to brown top
