Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup steel-cut oats lifeforce or mccann's
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal (smae brands if possible)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cup buttermilk

Directions:

  1. 400 oven 9X5 greased loaf pan
  2. In a large bow, sift together the flour and bakig soda
  3. Add the oats, oat,meal, whole wheat flour and salt; stir to combine
  4. Make a well in the center and add the buttermilk
  5. Stir until a soft dough forms
  6. Turn into a prepared pan and bake until lightly browned, 40 to 45 minutes.
  7. Serve with Kerrygold butter
