Grandma Rosy's Angel Buiscuts

Ingredients:

  • 5 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/4 oz yeast
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 -3 tbsp warm water

Directions:

  1. Add shortening to flour and next 4 ingredients till it is consistency of meal.
  2. Dissolve yeast in the warm water and let rise 10 minutes or so.
  3. Add flour mixture to yeast and mix until smooth.
  4. Put in greased bowl, cover, and refrigerate. (overnight?).
  5. Before baking, remove from Frig, roll out and use cookie cutter to make the biscuits.
  6. And place on cookie sheet. Let them rise 30 minutes.
  7. Bake at 450 for about 10 minutes.
