Ingredients:

  • 1 cup lentils
  • 4 medium tomatoes
  • 100 ml oil
  • 2 -3 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 liter water
  • 1 tbsp cayenne

Directions:

  1. Rinse and drain lentils.
  2. Chop tomatos, garlic and parsley.
  3. Heat oil in deep frying pan.
  4. Add garlic and stir constantly to prevent browning.
  5. Add spices.
  6. Add tomatos.
  7. Heat 2 mins.
  8. Add lentils and parsley.
  9. Add mixture into 1L water and bring to boil for 1 min.
  10. Decrease temp and allow mixture to simmer until satistfied.
  11. Make sure to cover pot with a lid.
