Ingredients:

  • 5 cups water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 lb tomato
  • 1 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin

Directions:

  1. Add salt to water and heat to boiling. Add the lentils and simmer for 30 minutes. Do not drain!
  2. Add everything else and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
