  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugars, baking powder, lemon peel, and salt. In a smaller bowl, combine the egg, milk, serrano, chutney, oil, and lemon juice. Mix the egg mixture into the flour mixture, stirring well. Add the nuts, then transfer the batter to a greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.
  2. Place the pan in the oven and bake for 1 hour or until done. Remove the pan from the oven and cool for 10 minutes. Remove the bread from the pan and cool on a rack.
