Lavender and Orange Glazed Pecans

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 tbsp grated orange zest
  • 1/2 tsp dried ginger (optional)
  • 2 cups pecan halves (about 1/2 lb)

Directions:

  1. Lightly toast pecans in large heavy pan over low heat.
  2. Line cookie sheet with waxed paper.
  3. Bring first three ingredients to boil in heavy large saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  4. Boil 30 seconds.
  5. Stir in pecans.
  6. Spread pecans in one layer on waxed paper and cool completely.
  7. Separate pecans if necessary.
  8. Prepare 1 day to 1 week ahead.
  9. Store in airtight container.
