Ingredients:

  • saftiger or juicy poppyseed streusal kuchen
  • 1 pr pinch salz salt
  • 1 el tbsp vanillezucker vanilla sugar
  • 250 g mehl flour
  • 1 tl tsp backpulver baking powder
  • etwas milch some milk
  • belag lining /filling
  • 250 g mohnfullung - poppyseed filling
  • 7 el tbsp milch milk
  • 100 g g mandelblattchen -siced almond
  • 150 g mehl flour

Directions:

  1. Preparation:
  2. Cream: butter, eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla.
  3. Stir in Flour and baking powder plus enough milk to form a dough that drops from a spoon .
  4. Place the batter in a greased 26 cm springform pan.
  5. Peel apples, cut in half, remove core, cut into wedges and place over the batter.
  6. Mix the poppyseed filling with some milk and almonds and distribute over apples.
  7. Make streusal crumbs with the flour, butter and sugar sprinkle over poppyseed filling.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven 175 ° C ( 350F )approximately 45 to 50 minutes or tested done
  9. Let cool a bit and then sprinkle with powdered sugar prior to serving
