  1. Beat eggs and sugar together.
  2. Stir in flour, walnuts, dates and vanilla.
  3. Press into grease lamington tin.
  4. Bake in a moderate oven - 180 C for 25 minutes.
  5. Cut into bars while still hot then leave to cool.
