Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 cups thinly sliced apples

Directions:

  1. Cream sugar, oil, eggs, add vanilla.
  2. Add dry ingredients, stir well.
  3. Fold in apples and walnuts.
  4. Spread into greased 11 x 7 pan, I prefer a glass baking pan for this cake.
  5. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
