Jeweled Clementines with Vanilla Sauce

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine sugar and vinegar in a small, heavy saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Cook 6 minutes or until amber brown.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the liqueur.
  5. Place the clementine sections in a large bowl.
  6. Pour the sugar mixture over the sections.
  7. Cover and chill 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  8. Combine the milk and yogurt, stirring with a whisk.
  9. Spoon the clementine mixture into individual bowls or stemmed glasses, and top with the yogurt mixture.
  10. Garnish with mint, if desired.
