Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.F
  2. Cream together butter and brown sugar. Add vanilla.
  3. Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture. MIx well with hands.
  4. Press smoothly and evenly into a 15x10 inch baking pan.
  5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until firm and lightly browned.
  6. Layer coconut, candied fruit and nuts evenly over crust.
  7. Drizzle condensed milk evnly over ingredients (avoid drizzling milk heavily along edges because it may overbrown ).
  8. Put back in oven. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Cool in pan on wire rack, then cut into 50 bars with butter knife.
  10. Store in airtight container.
