It's Doris's Rice Pudding!!

Ingredients:

  • 2 quarts whole milk ( no subs)
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup white rice
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. In a large pot heat the milk, sugar, rice and salt to a low simmer.
  2. Cook stirring constantly with a wooden spoon for 1 hour.
  3. Beat eggs with vanilla.
  4. Remove 1 cup of the rice mixture and stir in beaten eggs.
  5. Add Mix back to pot and cook an additional 3 minutes.
  6. Pour into a casserole dish.
  7. Sprinkle with Cinnamon and let cool in the refrigerator.
