Hot Buttered Rum Batter

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste or 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Mix ingredients together well and store in an airtight container.
  2. When ready to serve add 1 heaping teaspoon of butter to enough hot water to dissolve. Add 1 oz rum & 1/2 oz of brandy and fill the cup to the top with hot water.
