Honey Bun Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 (18 oz) box yellow cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 (8 oz) container sour cream
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup pecan pieces (optional)
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Mix well cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, water, sour cream.
  2. In a separate bowl combine sugar, cinnamon (and pecans if used).
  3. Spray 13x9 pan with Pam spray.
  4. Pour 1/2 of batter into pan.
  5. Sprinkle sugar mixture on the batter already in pan.
  6. Pour rest of batter on top of batter and sugar that are in pan.
  7. Swirl a knife thru the batter.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
  9. While cake is warm top with a glaze (mixture of powdered sugar, milk and vanilla).
  10. Serve and enjoy!
