Ingredients:

  • 1 egg* 1 lemon , juiced 1/4 cup chopped onions 1/4 cup chopped green bell peppers 1/4 cup chopped sweet pickles 1/4 cup chopped green olives 1 tbsp chopped pimientos 1 hard-boiled egg, finely chopped 3 tbsp ketchup 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh chives 1 tbsp chili sauce salt freshly ground black pepper 1 cup vegetable oil373

Directions:

  1. Combine the first 10 ingredients in a food processor with a metal blade and process until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. While the machine is running, slowly add the oil, a little at a time, until thick. Re-season if necessary.
  2. Contains Raw Eggs: The Food Network Kitchen suggest caution in consuming raw and lightly cooked eggs due to the slight risk of salmonella or other food-borne illness. To reduce this risk, we recommend you use only fresh, properly refrigerated, clean grade A or AA eggs with intact shells, and avoid contact between the yolks or whites and the shell. For recipes that call for eggs that are raw or undercooked when the dish is served, use shell eggs that have been treated to destroy salmonella, by pasteurization or another approved method.
