Homemade Spicy Italian Turkey Sausage

Ingredients:

  • 2 tsp italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp fennel seed, crushed (optional)
  • 1 1/2 tsp sugar (optional)

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, combine the turkey, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt pepper, red pepper flakes, and fennel and sugar if desired. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight. Shape into eight patties. Cook in a nonstick skillet coated with nonstick cooking spray for about 3 minutes on each side or until a meat thermometer reads 165 degrees F. Or cumble turkey into a non stick skillet coated with nonstick cooking spray. Cook and stir for about 4 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.
