Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 cups pecan halves

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 300 degrees.
  2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with nonstick foil; set aside.
  3. In small bowl, stir together sugar, salt and cinnamon; set aside.
  4. In medium-sized bowl, whisk egg white and 1 T water until foamy.
  5. Add pecans to bowl and stir until coated.
  6. Pour in sugar mixture and melted butter, and stir well to combine.
  7. Spread pecan mixture in an even layer on prepared baking sheet and bake at 300 for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Remove from oven and cool completely.
