Hill's Frosted Mayo Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 4 tbsp cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 1/4 cups butter
  • 4 tbsp cocoa
  • 1/4 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Sift together the first 5 dry ingredients. Add the vanilla, mayo and water to dry mixture - mix well.
  2. Pour into a 9x13 inch greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minute.
  3. In a saucepan bring the butter, cocoa and milk to a boil and continue to boil for 3 minutes - stirring constantly. Pour over the powdered sugar and stir well. Let cool and then frost cool cake.
