Heavenly Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups + 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 teasp. baking soda
  • 1/2 teasp. salt
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 package ( 11.5 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate mega-morsels or nuggets

Directions:

  1. In medium bowl mix flour, baking soda, and salt. mix well
  2. In a small saucepan combine butter and the coffee granules
  3. Cook over medium heat until the butter melts and the coffee has dissolved, stirring occasionally
  4. Remove from heat .cool to room temperature. don't let it get solid again
  5. Combine butter mixture, sugars, egg and egg yolk in large mixing bowl
  6. Beat at medium speed until well blended
  7. Gradually add flour mixture beating at low speed just until blended
  8. Stir in mega morsels and the walnuts
  9. Drop dough in heaping Tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets 2-inches apart
  10. Bake in a preheated 325'F oven for 12 - 14 minutes
  11. Cool slightly on the baking sheet. then finish cooling on wire racks
