Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup wheat bran
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup applesauce
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line 12-15 muffin cups with liners.
  2. Mix the first 6 ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Add in the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  4. Spoon batter into muffin cups.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool on wire rack.
