Hawaiian Teriyaki Beef

Ingredients:

  • 1 -1 1/2 lb roast beef , cut into thin slices
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp freshly grated gingerroot
  • 2 -3 tbsp oil or 2 -3 tbsp butter

Directions:

  1. Mix together all sauce ingredients except the oil or butter.
  2. Soak beef slices in sauce for at least 1 hour.
  3. Fry in a saucepan in oil or butter for about 4 minutes per side, or until tender.
  4. Serve with macaroni salad and rice for an island flare!
