Hawaiian Shrimp With Honey Mustard Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 lbs large raw shrimp, peeled with tails intact
  • 2 -4 tbsp club soda
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup dijon mustard
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup honey

Directions:

  1. For Shrimp:.
  2. Devein shrimp and rinse in water. Drain.
  3. Place 1/4 cup flour in small bowl.
  4. Mix 1/2 cup self rising flour and club soda to form a batter and place in small bowl.
  5. Place coconut in small bowl.
  6. Holding each shrimp by the tail, dip in flour, then in batter and next in coconut.
  7. Place on waxed paper.
  8. Fry a few shrimp at a time in hot oil until lightly golden brown and shrimp is floating on top of hot oil.
  9. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  10. Repeat with remaining shrimp.
  11. Serve with Honey Mustard Sauce.
  12. Honey Mustard Sauce:.
  13. Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate for one hour before serving.
